Reflections of Summer

As I write this winter has descended upon Northeast Ohio where I live. The calendar doesn’t say it is officially winter yet, but there have been snow showers today and the temperature makes if feel downright frigid.

On days such as this, it can be hard to imagine that it wasn’t always this way. It wasn’t that long ago that we were wearing shorts and tee shirts and soaking up the sunshine.

So here is a reminder of what those of us living around the Great Lakes are missing these days, but which will come around again, eventually anyway.

The trees will again be filled with leaves. Boats will be taken from storage and running around on the water. It will be a green world rather than a brown one.
