Flight of a Dragonfly

I seldom photograph insects, but I do have an affinity for things that fly. Perhaps that was what prompted me to notice this dragonfly fluttering about in the Cuyahyoga Valley National Park last autumn.

My first attempt to photograph this winged created failed. The image was fuzzy.

But my second attempt worked fine. I don’t know what type of dragonfly this is, but it is probably pretty common in Ohio.

That is Indigo Lake in the background.
