On Top of Toronto

I had a layover in Toronto in May 2014 and someone highly recommended visiting the CN Tower.

I had seen pictures of it, seen it from a distance across Lake Ontario and read about it. I’ve always enjoyed visiting the observation deck of tall buildings so I made it to the top of CN Tower.

Here is one of the many views that I made overlooking downtown Toronto. I don’t know enough about Canada’s largest city to know what buildings I’m looking at here.

I recognize Toronto Union Station in the lower right-hand corner of the image and the Royal York Hotel across the street from the depot, but that is about it.

But it doesn’t matter that I don’t recognize the names of any of those skyscrapers. It was enough just to be there and take in a view I’ve never experienced before.
