Heading Off Toward a Storm

The skies over Lake Erie were ominous. A line of thunderstorms had rolled through northwest Ohio and were pushing out over the lake, headed for Canada.

The wind was howling and I had a tough time standing up straight. But I wanted to get some images of the storm crossing the lake.

I was positioned in a public park on the shore near Vermilion, Ohio, and in the water below were a couple of people getting on their jet skis and heading for the open water.

As it turned out, this particular storm didn’t hit Vermilion and it looked worse than it was . . . at least where I was standing.
