The Leaves Were More Interesting

I was making autumn foliage photographs in a park in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, on a Saturday afternoon. The fall foliage was at its peak and three wedding parties were having their photographs made.

I was watching a particular wedding party have its photographs made when I noticed a small boy off to the side playing in the leaves.

Chances are he was a ring bearer in the ceremony. Playing in the leaves was much more fun than standing still for a photographer. No one seemed to be missing him anyway.

When I was his age, there is a good chance that I’d be doing what he is doing if I was in his situation. No matter your age, it’s always fun to play with fallen leaves in the fall.
