Cleveland skyline stay back-x

Actually, it is not so much a slope as a straight drop along a high retaining wall that the sign is warning about. The location is just off a cul-de-sac at the end of Rockefeller Avenue in an industrial area of Cleveland.

At one time Broadway Avenue crossed over the railroad tracks here and this area is known by some as Old Broadway.

There are still railroad tracks just beyond including tracks of Norfolk Southern and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. You can go up the edge of the retaining wall to photograph trains or the Cleveland skyline.

The Key Tower (left) at 888 feet is the tallest building in Cleveland while the 200 Public Square Building at 658 feet is the third tallest.
